Professor Yi Lilin's research team in Shanghai Jiao Tong University has made significant progress in femtosecond pulse measurement
Professor Yi Lilin's research team (LIFE, Laboratory of intelligent fiber ecosystem) at the School of Integrated Circuits (School of Information and Electronic Engineering) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University has made significant progress in the field of ultrafast optical measurement. The research team has proposed an intelligent single frame global characterization technology (ISFC) based on linear spectral shear interferometry (LSSI) combined with AI, which successfully eliminates the dependence on nonlinear effects and slow measurement speed of traditional femtosecond pulse measurement, and achieves precise single frame global (intensity and phase) measurement of weak femtosecond pulses at the skin focus level. The related achievements were published in Nature Communications as "Intelligent single shot full field characterization over femtosecond pulses".
