Professor Yi Lilin's team from Shanghai Jiao Tong University proposed an Integrated Encryption and Communication (IEAC) framework based on end-to-end deep learning, which enables high-speed and secure transmission of 1 Tb/s over 1200 kilometers of single-mode fiber. This work was published in the National Science Review (NSR). Postdoctoral fellow Niu Zekun and doctoral student Xie Yunhao from Shanghai Jiao Tong University are the co-first authors of the paper, while Professor Yi Lilin is the corresponding author of the paper. This direction of work has received support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Youth Fund Project, the Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the "Jiao Tong University 2030" Plan of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Huawei Advanced Optical Technology Joint Laboratory.
